Rahab Khalil, MD FACOG
“Dr. Khalil is the main founder of D4ID, an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and innovative services for young adults with disabilities. With 20 years of experience as a board-certified physician in Monmouth County, NJ Dr. Khalil has developed a deep understanding of the medical, emotional, and social challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. As a mother of four, including a son with a disability, Dr. Khalil is intimately familiar with the complexities of raising a child with special needs. Her personal experiences drive her professional mission to ensure that individuals with disabilities are not only supported medically but are also empowered to live independently and fully participate in all aspects of life. Through D4ID, Dr. Khalil is committed to providing young adults with disabilities the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. She believes in an inclusive world where individuals of all abilities have access to education, employment, and community engagement. With her extensive medical background and hands-on experience as a parent, she works to bridge the gap between community resources and the specific needs of individuals with disabilities.”
Rachel Mujica
Mrs. Mujica is one of three visionary women founders of D4ID. With over 27 years of experience as an accounting professional and tax preparer in New Jersey, Mrs. Mujica has been dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of raising and supporting loved ones with disabilities. As a mother to a daughter with a disability, Mrs. Mujica has personally experienced the complexities and emotional journey of caring for a child with special needs. This has deeply influenced her advocacy work and fueled her desire to create a lasting change in the lives of young adults with disabilities. She is passionate about ensuring that individuals with disabilities are empowered to live independent and fulfilling lives. Mrs. Mujica’s leadership is driven by her passion for creating meaningful, lasting change in the lives of young adults with disabilities. Her combination of personal experience, professional expertise, and deep empathy allows her to make a profound impact on the community, helping individuals and families secure the resources, support, and opportunities they deserve.
Sarah Elgamal
“Sarah Elgamal is a co-founder of D4ID, who has a background as an industrial engineer and extensive experience in the corporate world. Sarah brings a unique combination of problem-solving expertise and deep compassion to her work in the special needs community. Sarah’s commitment to supporting individuals with special needs began at the age of 13, growing up as a sister to a young adult with disabilities. Her first hands-on experience came as an assistant swim coach with the Monmouth Marlins at Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ), where she dedicated countless weekends to helping athletes develop their skills. Her passion for helping others, especially young adults with special needs, has only grown stronger over the years. Sarah envisions a world where every adult with disabilities can actively contribute to society. Through D4ID, she is dedicated to turning this vision into a reality by providing innovative programs and services that empower young adults with disabilities to reach their fullest potential.”
